A technology company specialised in secure digital transactions and cryptography, with a strong Research and Development component, working on SaaS bases and cloud computing, with an international presence, needs to incorporate a Presales Engineer to work from Madrid.
We are looking for a versatile, technical and business oriented pre-sales engineer with experience in developing business opportunities through his/her ability to design and create technical solutions that meet customer needs, in establishing trusting relationships with the customer's technical management (C-level) and in working closely with the sales and consulting teams responsible for the account.
The main objectives of this position are to drive market penetration, revenue growth and increased customer satisfaction thanks to the contributions of this role in presenting the best technical solution according to the customer's requirements.

As a Pre-Sales Engineer, you will:
- Work closely with the sales team (executive and account managers), both national and international, when it comes to technical discussions, take lead on key technical initiatives, be introduced to key technical stakeholders in each account, and create a solution plan according to initiatives and objectives
- Clarifying technical concepts and carrying out value proposal according to client requirements.
- Working with the team of account executives to elaborate the best solution offered to future customers delivering a clear vision of what the company can offer them when it comes to companies? digitalization and secure transactions offering the highest possible value.
- Validate software, hardware and services pricing and margins based on the scope of work.
- Engage Professional Services in opportunities after forming a clear solution plan.
- Monitor and report on market and competitor?s activities
- Communicate and report internally on opportunity status and plan ahead using appropriate methods to facilitate the development of profitable business and sustainable relationships.
- Attend and present at customer meetings and internal sessions with other company functions, as necessary.
- Influence buyers on product offering new / improved products / innovation within the industry
- Focus on upselling while acting as a technical advisor to customers within remit.
- Understand and communicate solutions at both a technical and business level.

Estudios mínimos
Engineering with technical background (computing, telecom, etc.).
Experiencia mínima
Min. 3 years of experience performing pre-sales functions for software solutions including customisation and deployment process.
Idiomas mínimos
- Spanish native
- English: At least C1
