A start-up company dedicated to the luxury watch and jewelry sector is seeking to recruit an Operations Manager. Their main objective will be to develop and oversee all operational functions of the company, reporting to the Managing Director.
As Operations Manager, your main duties and responsibilities will be:
- Achieving maximum efficiency in processes between factories and European, American, and Asian suppliers and distributors.
- Contributing to the achievement of commercial objectives.
- Strategic development of the team.
- Ensuring strict compliance with Spanish labor legislation.
- Acting as a fiscal liaison with Swiss export agencies to avoid shipping delays and meet delivery deadlines.
- Implementing and evaluating stock and warehousing control, in terms of cost optimization and speed.
- Integrating the distribution system with ERP platforms to link the management of e-sales, orders, e-commerce, and quality control.

Required:
- Experience with customs protocols in the EU, US, and other regions for products manufactured in Switzerland.
- Knowledge of VAT declarations and certification processes for luxury materials.
- Demonstrated export and import knowledge, preferably in the luxury jewelry manufacturing sector.
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
- Organizational and planning skills.

Estudios mínimos
Bachelor's or degree in Business Administration, Engineering, Law, or similar.
Experiencia mínima
Idiomas mínimos
- Professional-level bilingual Spanish and English, both spoken and written. Regular and direct contact with international suppliers will be required; therefore, an advanced level of English (C1 or C2) is essential.
- Fluency in French and/or German will be highly valued.
Requisitos valorables
- Experience in the luxury watch and jewelry sector: standards, logistics, and anti-counterfeiting measures, such as Ariane.
- Knowledge of the Swiss watch supply chain, as well as lead-time negotiation tactics.
- Knowledge of ERP and inventory tools such as SAP, Netsuite, or Salesforce.
- Master's degree in Supply Chain Management.
- Master's or postgraduate degree in Spanish labor law.
