An important international company specialized in transportation, distribution, road freight, and logistics services, providing supply chain solutions for sectors such as automotive, retail, and industry, is looking to incorporate a Health & Safety Coordinator / Supervisor to join its team.

The position will be based at the company?s offices in Northampton, although the selected candidate must be available to travel to other operational sites to conduct audits and site visits when required.

Reporting directly to the relevant operational management, the professional will be responsible for:

- Ensuring compliance with company health & safety policies and procedures across operational sites.
- Identifying risks and developing Risk Assessments to improve safety standards within operations.
- Conducting incident and accident investigations, identifying root causes and implementing corrective actions.
- Monitoring and tracking Health & Safety data, producing statistical reports and KPIs to support decision-making.
- Carrying out internal audits and site inspections to ensure compliance with regulatory and company standards.
- Delivering Health & Safety training sessions to employees and operational teams.
- Supporting continuous improvement initiatives related to workplace safety and operational risk management.
- Collaborating with logistics and operational teams, particularly in environments working with 3PL providers.

Requirements:
- NEBOSH certification (or equivalent Health & Safety qualification).
- Experience identifying hazards and preparing Risk Assessments.
- Experience conducting incident investigations and preparing investigation reports.
- Experience in data tracking, KPI monitoring and statistical reporting related to Health & Safety.
- Experience delivering training sessions on safety procedures.
- Previous experience in a transport, logistics or supply chain environment, ideally working with 3PL operators.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office 365.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Good communication and leadership abilities.
- Availability to travel to different operational sites when required.

Estudios mínimos
- Degree or diploma in Occupational Health & Safety, Engineering, Logistics, or a related field.
- NEBOSH certification or equivalent professional qualification in Health & Safety.
Experiencia mínima
- Previous experience in Health & Safety roles, ideally in transportation, logistics or industrial environments.
- Experience conducting risk assessments, safety audits, investigations and training.
- Experience working with operational teams and external logistics providers (3PL) is highly valued.
