We?re looking for a software developer who has prior experience in using Ruby on Rails, or would like to advance their Ruby on Rails expertise. What?s most important is that you enjoy developing software, and are keen on learning new languages and frameworks.
We use Ruby on Rails, Apache, nginx, MySql, Redis, Solr, jQuery, and Git. We maintain a method of agile software development mainly geared towards Test Driven Development. We practice Continuous Deployment: i.e. multiple daily releases. You?ll be writing code which will be used by hundreds of thousands of people every month.
You?ll be part of an agile development team of 15 developers. You?ll mostly be developing software, as well as frequently interacting with our marketing division and Catawiki?s users as you develop new website functionality.
Your profile
A Senior Software Developer needs good communicative skills, a Bachelor?s/Master?s degree in information technology, and a number of years experience in software development. We?re also looking for:
? demonstrable experience in object oriented development
? experience in working with Ruby, Python, Java and/or C#
? experience with relational databases, such as MySQL
