Offer description
For a company in the automotive sector dedicated to the stamping and formation of metal sub-assemblies in the automotive sector, which has extensive experience in the production of first equipment parts as well as original spare parts, we select a Director of quality and environment, that following the guidelines of the General Directorate, you must perform the following functions:

Functions and responsibilities:
- Certify the organization's quality management system according to IATF-16949, as well as enforce the quality requirements of customers.
- Ensure the validity of the Quality System and that it is appropriate to the internal development of the company and its members and external conditions (new needs, technological advances, new customers, etc.).
- Disseminate the philosophy of Total Quality at all levels of the company, giving priority to sensitive actions for the Client.
- Prepare / keep updated the quality manual.
- Develop and implement the quality management system procedures according to IATF-16949.
- Develop and implement the necessary records to demonstrate the conformity of the quality management system according to IATF-16949.
- Perform internal audits.
- Apply quality standards for different products and processes, as well as for the products and services associated with them.
- Maintain communication with customers and suppliers, managing possible incidents and claims.
- Ensure the quality of the different suppliers and participants in the ?customer-service chain?, evaluate and approve them.
- You have the authority to stop the production line in order to correct problems related to quality.
- Coordinate and supervise the personnel in charge, ensuring compliance in time and with required quality.
- Collect and verify manufacturing data for analysis.
- Analyze machine downtime and wait and authorize them.
- Responsible for the Quality and Metrology Area.
- Control and update the documentation generated by the quality management system.
- Ensure the proper functioning of the manufacturing plant.
- Organize, coordinate and supervise the work done by the manufacturing staff.

Required skills:

- Ability to work in a team, promote teamwork and coordinate work groups.
- Organizational, analysis and planning capacity,
- Deep knowledge of Quality Systems related to the automobile industry.

Requirements:
- Engineering, Bachelor or Diploma.
- Training in Quality Audits.
- Experience of at least 5 years in a similar position.
- English: B2.
