Etalentum has opened a new office in Bergamo that will operate not only as a local branch but also as the company’s headquarters for Italy. With this opening, the company strengthens its presence in the Italian market with five offices in the north of the country part of a capillary expansion strategy aimed at transforming the local labor market through a unique model that combines technological innovation with a strong on-the-ground presence.
The choice of Bergamo responds to a clear market reality, as Northern Italy is home to small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) with characteristics very similar to those in Spain companies that represent the true economic engine of the country. According to Jaume Alemany, Etalentum’s Expansion Director, finding the right talent for a Bergamo-based company requires understanding the specific dynamics of its industrial district and meeting candidates where they live and work.
Etalentum’s differentiating value is based on proximity and on strategic, proactive searches, supported by a proprietary technology platform that uses Artificial Intelligence and People Analytics. This innovation backed by more than 2,000 clients and thousands of successful recruitment processes helps address a crucial need: in Bergamo, the difficulty of sourcing professional profiles has risen from 28% in 2017 to 53% in 2024, affecting nearly 68% of companies in 2025.
The inauguration of the new headquarters brought together representatives from all of Etalentum’s Italian offices as well as more than 50 companies from the province.
