January 2025. In a survey conducted by Etalentum, 64% of companies stated that hiring in 2025 will be more challenging than in 2024. This difficulty stems not only from a shortage of qualified professionals but also from demographic factors reducing workforce availability, evolving job expectations towards greater flexibility and well-being, and the impact of technological advancements demanding new skills.

For 44% of companies, one of the most significant factors is competition from other job offers within their sector. The "war for talent" is intensifying in industries with high demand for specialized skills, pushing companies to offer attractive job opportunities, not only in terms of salary but also in benefits, company culture, and professional development opportunities.

The gap between job supply and demand varies depending on the required skill level. Etalentum data indicates that difficulty increases for high-level (46.6%) and mid-level (43.2%) profiles, totaling 89.8%.
