The 4th Etalentum HR Trends Report reveals that 71% of candidates choose to manage multiple recruitment processes in order to have better options. This strategy aims to avoid missing out on opportunities (as stated by 38% of respondents) while also maximizing the chances of success when facing screening filters (20%).
In this study, candidates express concern about the time companies take to make decisions, as 73% of professionals are only willing to wait between 7 and 15 days for a response. This sense of urgency clashes with the internal timelines of many organizations, which are often slower, resulting in highly qualified profiles accepting the first offer that materializes, regardless of whether it is their preferred option.
Regarding the drivers behind job changes, the report highlights that the reasons go beyond mere financial compensation, although it remains an important factor. The two main reasons are the perception of feeling undervalued (48%) and the lack of opportunities for career advancement (40%).
